The lower of the two, Beachside Cottage, is a revamp of an original cottage on this site, with four double bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large kitchen, lounge and dining room, wifi and Sky Sports/movies. The second property, Clifftop Cottage, is built into the cliff above, which makes the most of the stunning views over the sea, beach and surrounding coastline. It’s equally well equipped, with wifi, Sky Sports/Movies, plus the same high-end kitchen appliances. There are three double bedrooms, each enjoying gorgeous sea views. It would be hard to imagine two more perfect properties if you’re looking for a beachside holiday in Cornwall – or a much better location: Lovely Portreath is only 3 miles from the A30, and far enough off the main tourist route to be relatively peaceful, even in high season, yet within easy reach of lots of west Cornwall highlights, including St Ives, Falmouth and the Lizard peninsula. Not that we recommend you stray too far. With this level of comfort and an idyllic position by one of Cornwall’s best beaches, there’s really no reason to go anywhere. Just park your car in the designated spaces, toss your keys in a drawer… and relax!

Just WoW!! I wanted somewhere with a sea views to celebrate my 60th birthday with my family
and boy this place exceeded our expectations! This house gave us everything we wanted and needed! The welcome pack of Fresh flowers, cream teas, beers&cider and cookies was such a lovely touch. Everything is thought about to make your stay home from home! The views, incredible! The house, impeccable! We didn’t want to leave, and will be coming back!! We had the most amazing time at Beachside
The location is stunning and the house itself perfect. Has everything you need and ‘the’ most comfortable beds. We never got tired of the view and sat outside on the terrace each morning and evening just watching the world go by. Mesmerising. David and colleagues were super informative and helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Easy from start to finish. We’d happily stay again.

We enjoyed a fantastic week in the Clifftop Cottage
The interior of the cottage is very clean, modern and well equipped. The kitchen includes everything you need and all sleeping rooms have really good beds and each a modern and not small bathroom. The terrace is a fantastic place to enjoy the sea and the perfect view. It offers a huge space and several seated areas. When walking on the beach of Portreath you will very soon recognise that the Clifftop Cottage is really the unique one in this area! We have been staying with 5 persons and are very much thankful for the wonderful time. Thank you !

Even the weather couldn’t spoil it as the property was comfortable and well equipped to keep us content even on the wettest of days. A return visit is already being mentioned
This was our fourth visit to Clifftop, fabulous house & location
We park the car & just chill out. The team are always very welcoming & helpful, all you need for a brilliant beach stay, moments to the sea & warm outdoor shower to rinse the sand away before a drink on the extensive terrace which overlooks the bay. We have freshly caught lobster & crab delivered to the door, it’s a hard life. Already booked for next year!

Coast to Coast Trail
From Porteath to Devoran, The Mineral Tramways Coast to Coast route is a fantastic way to enjoy the Cornish countryside. It passes through one of the world's best-conserved concentrations of historic mine buildings, allowing you to explore the area's fascinating history.
Tehidy Country Park
The largest area of woodland in west Cornwall, containing over 9 miles of paths for walking, dog walking and cycling. The mini waterfalls are a popular attraction, as are the very tame squirrels and ducks. There is plenty of parking options and a café and visitor centre.
