A family-friendly âghost huntâ where you pick up a free detective map and explore the historic site, uncover clues about a 19th-century death, and earn a sticker when you finish.

Tickets/Cost:Â Free activity (map included) as part of visiting the site. - Tips:Â Itâs very close to Portreath (Redruth area) so a short drive. Ideal for younger children or families wanting an easy âspookyâ outing.
A full âHalloween breakâ programme: indoor play, crafting, pumpkin carving, themed kidsâ party etc.

 Tips: Great if youâre staying locally anyway; convenient and everything onsite. But bookings fill up fast. If sessions are fully booked, you can join the waitlist.
A woodland event with immersive theatre, storytelling, a path through the woods, then a dance/disco under big tent. On the spooky-fun end â perfect for older kids/adults.

- Runs across multiple dates: October 24, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 31, and November 1 & 2.
- Four performances per day (except certain days may have fewer): 12:00 (noon) â âFirst Danceâ; 14:30 â âSecond Danceâ; 17:00 â âDusk Danceâ; 20:00 â âDark Danceâ.
Tickets/Cost: - General tickets: ÂŁ10âÂŁ14 depending what you choose. Ages 3 and under free.
- Arrive 15 minutes early; the event lasts about 2 hours.
Tips:Â Dress warmly; come prepared for woodland terrain (wellies, torch). Itâs a bit further than Portreath itself but still very accessible. Book early.

- Village Halloween Parade: As per local guide, the parade is on 31 October in Portreath Village Centre; costume contest, face-painting, food stalls, possibly fireworks.
- Craft Session at PODâŻCafeâŻPortreath: Friday 29 October 2025, 16:00-17:30, âGhost Workshopâ (crafting hanging ghost decorations) including pumpkin pizza & juice for kids. Ticket: ÂŁ20 per child.
Tickets/Cost:
- Parade: usually free to attend; costume contest may have nominal entry. Confirm via village council.
- POD Cafe workshop: ÂŁ20 per participating child, includes materials, food & drink. Adults to accompany kids.
Tips:Â These are super convenient â right in Portreath. Great for younger kids, or spontaneous fun. For the parade, arrive early to get a good position. For the craft workshop, book ahead (limited spaces).
